You are invited to the Harvest Fest/Frontier Studies weekend at Fort Randolph in Point Pleasant, WV
The weekend will include seminars, a cast iron cooking contest, feast, auction, tavern entertainment and much more. Camping is permitted and cabins are available on a first-serve basis. Firewood, water, and straw are available on site. Participating reenactors are encouraged but not required to bring a period food item for the feast on Saturday.

Seminars start at 10:00 am on Saturday, there will be a 1 hr. break for lunch. Times will be posted at the Fort ********************************* "Cast Iron Chef" cook-off will begin at 2:00 and will be 2 hours long, dishes will be presented to the judges at 4 p.m. At 4:30 there will be an auction to benefit the fort, so bring something to be put up for auction. The winner of the cookoff will be announced...
5:30 Dinner! ************************* Rules for cookoff All participants MUST be dressed in 18thC. clothing You must provide your own cooking pots, etc. Recipes are to be 18thC or a representation of an existing one, bring your documentation, or a copy of the original and any modern changes you have made. You must give a copy to the judges(do not put your name on it)..if you wish to share with the rest of us, please bring some extra copies. ALL food is to be prepared on site. There will be 3 prizes awarded, First , second and third GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN... ___________________ Saturday night .
